Solution #1: Custom Built Driver Installation files

Brother can create special auto driver installation software that automatically installs the printer driver onto a PC without asking the user any questions. The driver is automatically installed and configured to print to the appropriate parallel, USB or network interface. Our automatic driver installation files can also be customized to meet your individual printer settings, e.g. print quality setting, power save settings, paper input settings, etc. This ensures that, when the driver is installed onto the client PC, it's configured the way you want it to be.

Solution #2: Brother Driver Deployment Wizard

The Brother Driver Deployment Wizard software can also be used to automate the installation of a Brother printer/MFC driver into a Windows environment. The Brother Driver Deployment Wizard software creates self-running executable files, which once run, completely automate the installation of a Brother driver in a Windows environment. The driver is automatically installed and configured to print to the appropriate parallel, USB or network interface. A limited number of unique driver setting information can stored within the self running executable files.

Solution #3: Universal Printer Drivers

Brother has also developed a common universal driver for Windows NT and Windows 2000 systems. This single universal driver can be used on all Brother Printer/MFC models that support PCL 5 or higher. The driver offers a more-simple user interface and a reduced set of functions, but still prints in the same quality and with the same speed that you'd expect from a normal Brother driver.
