What you can do with the optional Mail Box Unit (MX-70XX): for HL-7050 only

What is the benefit?

By installing the optional Mail Box Unit (MX-70XX), you can specify which bin you are going to send your output to. You can also use the Mailbox as a sorter.

There are two types of Mail Box Units. You can select either 5 bin Mail Box or 10 bin Mail box.

1. Personal Output Tray (Mail Box function)
2. Sorting the Printouts (Sorter function)
3. Increasing Paper Output Capacity (Stacker function)

How does it work?

1. Personal Output Tray (Mail Box function)

You can use the mail box unit as a personal output tray.

1. Label each bin of the mailbox.
2. Specify the bin you want to send printout to using the printer driver.

2. Sorting the Printouts (Sorter function)

If you want to make several sets of copies, you can use the MX to sort the output.

3. Increasing Paper Output Capacity (Stacker function)

When used as a stacker, the paper output capacity of the machine increases from 500 to 1500 sheets.
