Managing spooled print jobs using a web browser
What is the benefit?
If you do not wish to manage the contents of the printer RAMDISK or HD-EX/Compact Flash memory using the printer control panel, you can use a standard web browser to manage the contents of the RAMDISK/HD-EX/Compact Flash memory. You can also use the web browser to delete jobs that you no longer wish to store.
Without using the optional HD-EX or Compact Flash memory.
- Before you can use this feature you must format the printer RAMDISK or install the option HD-EX or Compact Flash memory.
Using the optional HD-EX or Compact Flash memory
- If you have installed the optional HD-EX or Compact Flash memory, you must format it before you proceed, click here for more information.
How does it work
-
From the printer homepage select the "Spool Function" option.

-
You will see any Proof Files, Public Files or Secure Files that you have already sent.
Select the option you require to reprint your job.

Please note the following:
- Secure Print (documents send using the 'secure print' option will be stored in the printer RAMDISK or HD-EX/Compact Flash memory until the document is printed. To print the document a 4 digit PIN number will be required).
- Public (Documents will be stored in a public area of the RAMDISK/HD-EX or Compact Flash memory, ANYONE can access the files stored there and print them). Please note that if you select this option, the document will not actually print until you go to the printer front panel or attempt to access the document using a web browser.
- Proof (As above however, when this option is used, the printer will print the document automatically after it is stored in the RAMDISK, HD-EX or Compact Flash).
Notes
- If you are using the RAMDISK then any spooled documents that you have stored will be deleted if the printer is switched off.
