What is a Generic Driver?
For users of Citrix® MetaFrame®, Windows® Terminal Server environments
and other Windows NT 4.0® and Windows® 2000/XP network shared environments,
we recommend the use of our Brother Generic Drivers. These drivers can be used
on any Brother monochrome laser printer/multi-function product that supports
PCL 4 or higher.
This Generic driver:

the "Add Printer Wizard". If you have several
different printer products, click
here and see what printer driver should be installed for
each product.

note, this driver supports a maximum print resolution of 300 x 300 dpi
and does NOT support the optional paper input and paper output options
that are available on some Brother monochrome laser products.

Use this driver(BHPCL5E.INF) if your Brother
product supports PCL 5 or later. (HL-1450 and
