Brother Linux Scanner driver /Scan key tool download
Brother has prepared an RPM installer package which automatically copies
the relevant driver files to your Linux distribution. These drivers
are designed to work using the SANE scanning system. Check the compatible
models listed below to download the driver.
Also, Brother has prepared the Scan key tool for both USB and Network Users.
This enables users to scan documents by using
the scan-key on the Brother machine.
If you have any questions about or require troubleshooting with Linux,
please refer to
the FAQ.

- The Scanner driver will work with machines
connected through the USB and Network interfaces.
- The Scan key tool
will work with machines connected through both USB and Network. If
you want to use
the functions of Scan to Image /File /E-mail with
Linux,
install
the Scan
key tool after installing the 0.2.4 version of Scanner driver.
- If you have installed both “brscan” and “brscan2” drivers
on your PC and you uninstall “brscan”, you may experience
problems. If this happens, run the following command: "/usr/local/Brother/sane/setupSaneScan2
-i".
