The Web BRAdmin Log feature allows the Web BRAdmin software to record the use of Brother
and other SNMP compliant devices. This information is then saved on the Web BRAdmin
server hard disc for further analysis.
To learn how to activate the Log feature, refer to the following information:
- From the Web BRAdmin screen, highlight the devices which you wish to monitor.
- Click the "Log" button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
-
You will see a list of devices which are being monitored (next to each device you'll
see a blue circle). A blue circle indicates that the log function is enabled.

Please note the "Size" column. This column indicates the amount of data used
on the Web BRAdmin server hard disc. For example, in the screenshot about we can see
that the HL-3260N printer located in ETS and managed by Richard Thomas is using 16KB
of storage on the Web BRAdmin server.
-
Double click one of the devices you wish to view and the following screen is displayed:
-
Choose the "HTML" option to display the data as an HTML page in your web browser;
choose "CSV" if you wish to save the data as a CSV file or click "TXT" if you wish
to save the data as a TXT file.
- The data will be displayed on your computer screen.
Please note: If your Brother network ready device is using the optional
HD-EX hard disc drive, it will be possible to select the "Maintenance Info.",
"Job Print Log", "Error Log" and "Total Job Print Log" options. However,
if the device is not using an optional HD-EX hard disc drive you will only be able
to select the "Maintenance Info" option.
